Summer is just around the corner, and the time to plan and register for summer camps and programs is here! Your child will build skills, make friends, and have lots of fun at SMA’s summer camps and programs. All camps take place at St. Mary’s Academy, 861 Hwy 279, Fayetteville, GA 30214.
Please note that registration can be completed by clicking on the appropriate link for the camp below its description. All camp registrations are final and no refunds will be issued.
Ages: Rising 2nd to 8th grades

Description:
Dive into a world of color, texture, and creativity as students explore ALL art mediums—painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, collage, mixed media, and more! Each day brings new techniques, exciting projects, and endless opportunities to express yourself.

Description:
Open to all skill levels, complete beginners will learn the basic principles, and more experienced players will learn openings, theory, and tactics, which will all end in a tournament. This camp will provide a fun learning experience to all interested in improving at the game.

Description:
This is for SMA middle school students who would like a “leg-up” on their peers when it comes to reading comprehension. Attendees will have a personal “coach” to help them navigate some of the strategies for better reading comprehension. Attendees should wear comfortable summer clothing: t-shirt and shorts. Each attendee receives a t-shirt.

Camp IGNITE is a summer experience designed for rising 6th through 9th graders who are ready to take the next step — in school, in leadership, and in life.
Middle school is one of the most exciting and challenging transitions a young person will face. Camp IGNITE meets students right where they are and equips them with the tools, confidence, and community they need to thrive.
Ages: Rising 3rd to 8th grades

Description:
Students will engage in creation, innovation, and design as they build and program competition robots to meet a challenge. Throughout the camp, students will learn Block Coding, 3D Design, 3D Printing, and engineering design. No prior coding experience is required.

Description:
We will teach fundamental skills and engage in competitive, but fun, play. Skills taught: Dribbling, Passing, Shooting, Free Throws, defense, 5 on 5 Scrimmage, and how to play basketball as a team including God. Campers need to wear shorts, t-shirts, and bring a towel, lite snack, water or a sport drink. Each camper receives a camp t-shirt.

Description:
Campers will work on flag football skills, as well as work on agility, speed, and play in flag football scrimmages. Campers will also get to learn under some high school flag football players. Campers will need shorts, shirt, socks, tennis shoes, cleats, and a reusable water bottle.

Description:
Campers will learn and work on the basic fundamentals of volleyball (Passing, Hitting, Setting and Serving). We will incorporate fun drills and a lot of play. Our SMA varsity girls will assist and coach the campers along with Coach Schmitz.
